Threads You Should Read

No idea why you have this mod, but its really annoying to see a LOAD of notifications. Should try "Force Users To Read A Thread" or "Announcements On ForumHome"

I am not bothered by these notifications at all. In-fact, it's actually great to keep people up-to-date without the hassle to ask them repeatedly.

I prefer announcements on forumhome to work much much better :)

We had a newscast mod at oen point but it wasn't really working. Anyway, if you're a regular visitor to the site, these notifications don't build up, and even if you're not a regular visitor, the notifications are set to have a time out of a week as they are for weekly competitions.

I don't like forcing users to read a thread as that would mean as soon as they hit the site, they would be sent to like, 9 different threads.
